What is Dino Move? We're glad you asked....

Our Dino Move program is powered by Born to Move (BTM), a curriculum developed by Brandi Smith, a licensed physical therapist and former collegiate gymnast. Brandi has worked with athletes of all ages and abilities, including collegiate and Olympic-level gymnasts.

Dino Move is designed to complement your child’s gymnastics journey by supporting healthy brain development through purposeful, age-appropriate movement in a gymnastics-based environment. Whether your child dreams of becoming an Olympian, excelling academically, or exploring music and the arts, it all begins with the brain—the body’s CEO.

By strengthening neural connections through movement, Dino Move helps build the foundation children need to reach their fullest potential—wherever their interests may lead them.

PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS CLASSES

  • Babies (3 - 12 months) This parent-and-baby gymnastics class is specially designed to support your baby’s early neurological and physical development during the most important first year of life. Through gentle, age-appropriate movement activities, we help build the foundational brain-body connections that support rolling, crawling, sitting, and early standing. With a parent or caregiver actively participating, babies explore safe gymnastics equipment, sensory experiences, and guided movements that encourage balance, coordination, core strength, and body awareness. Activities are intentionally structured to stimulate the nervous system, promote motor planning, and support healthy developmental milestones—while always following each baby’s individual pace. This class also empowers parents with simple tools and knowledge to continue supporting their baby’s development at home, all in a nurturing, playful, and supportive environment.

  • Waddlers (1-2 years, starting to take steps but not walking) -  This parent-and-waddler gymnastics class is designed to support the rapid neurological and physical development that occurs during the early toddler years. Through purposeful movement, guided exploration, and play-based activities, toddlers strengthen the brain-body connections essential for walking, climbing, balance, coordination, and early problem-solving. With a parent or caregiver actively participating, children engage with age-appropriate gymnastics equipment, obstacle courses, and sensory experiences that promote motor planning, spatial awareness, bilateral coordination, and confidence. Activities are thoughtfully structured to stimulate the nervous system while respecting each child’s developmental stage and individual readiness. Parents are supported with simple strategies to encourage movement, independence, and skill development at home, all within a positive, nurturing environment that emphasizes connection, safety, and fun.

  • Toddlers (2-3.5 years) - This engaging gymnastics class supports early neurological development through purposeful movement, basic gymnastics skills, and parent participation. With a parent or caregiver by their side, children explore fundamental gymnastics activities such as tumbling, rolling, balancing, jumping, swinging, and introductory bar, beam, floor and vault work. These movements help develop strength, coordination, spatial awareness, and balance while strengthening brain–body connections. Guided obstacle courses, repetition of skills, and playful challenges encourage motor planning, confidence, and independence. Through structured gymnastics play, music, and positive parent interaction, children also build social skills, listening skills, and a love for movement in a safe, supportive environment.

  • Preschool (3.5-5 years) - This structured, high-energy gymnastics class supports neurological development while helping children grow in more than just gymnastics skills. With a strong emphasis on independent participation, gymnasts work on foundational skills such as forward rolls, upper body support, jumping and safe landings, balance beam, vaulting, climbing, and introductory bar work. These purposeful movements strengthen coordination, balance, strength, spatial awareness, and motor planning, reinforcing important brain–body connections. Through skill progressions, repetition, and guided circuits, children also develop focus, listening skills, confidence, problem-solving, and self-regulation. The result is a fun, disciplined environment that builds strong bodies, growing minds, and skills that carry over into school, sports, and everyday life. Your child must be fully potty trained to join an independent class.
